On the hunt: mirrors made with antique window frames
Glancing up from a horse-drawn carriage on the cobblestone street, a traveler
may have looked up to spot a gloved hand part the silk curtain in the window
above.
Europe's elite used to peek through leaded glass framed in iron. Now it is
we who look back at ourselves.
These scarce iron window frames have been salvaged from some of the oldest
buildings from Amsterdam to Rome, and have been reinvented into decadent
mirrors. Add one to your room for a little mystique... they're even better with
one of our antique crystal chandeliers!
